Maxwell aspires to play professional rugby and contribute to the growth of rugby locally and globally, having represented Kenya in international fixtures. He currently plays for Menengai Cream homeboyz, as a blind wing and inside centre.

He attained World Rugby Level 1 Coaching and Match Officiating certification in 2016.
He has been a coach with KRDA since to date.
